Nature Watching

Northwest Montana and the KRO Guest Ranch are a nature enthusiast's paradise. Deer, Elk, Moose, Bear and the occasional Wolf roam free as they have for thousands of years. Raptors and song birds are plentiful. Bald Eagles nest on the Ranch and Grouse resound with their thumping through out the spring time. Waterfowl are present through out the year and many different species fly through in the fall and early winter.

Hiking, biking, paddling, or just a sit on the porch with a set of binoculars can be a very relaxing. So be sure to bring your camera and spend some extra time viewing all that this country has to offer. Chances are you won't be disappointed!
