KRO also guides several other tributaries and rivers as well as numerous high mountain lakes that lie through out the Cabinet Mountains, Scotchman Peaks , Yaak, and surrounding areas. For those looking for remote solitude and small stream wading, or when conditions warrant, a day spent fly fishing on one of these other waters, can make for a nice change of pace on some beautiful and seldom fished water.

A gorgeous little spring fed stream at the back side of the ranch feeds the top end of Lake Creek and is a great afternoon get away with a 2 weight.

We also offer a unique day of guided fly fishing by floating the lower end of Bull Lake and casting poppers to Large Mouth Bass and Northern Pike. We then spend the second half of the day floating right into the creek and the Trout fishery. At the end of the day you are right back at your cabin. No where else that we know of can you experience quality Bass, Pike and Trout fishing without ever leaving your boat!

In the off season, or if you just didn't get enough with a full day on the water with our guides, you may also use one of our canoes or pontoons to fish the top end of the creek and lake. Or bring your own boat to access Bull Lake . Forest Service boat launches are only a few miles away.

Several warm and cold water species inhabit the lake the whole year. Bass and perch being the primary inhabitants as well as Kokanee Salmon and plenty of trout for those that want to go deep. Bull Lake is a gorgeous mountain lake that is roughly 5 miles long by 2/3 mile wide with a maximum depth of 65 feet
